Terms and Conditions
A firm booking will be made on receipt of a completed booking form and deposit to the value of 25% of the total rental due. The visitor is then liable for payment of the balance of the total sum due. The remainder of the balance due should be sent to Pitfour Castle Holiday Lets 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation the deposit will be refunded only if Pitfour Castle Holiday Lets subsequently re-lets the cancelled period. The sum of £20 will be retained from the refunded deposit to cover administrative costs. The visitor is responsible for arrangements of appropriate holiday cancellation insurance and, for the avoidance of any doubt; the owner provides no such insurance as part of contract.
Arriving and Departing
Terms are per week or short break as agreed for the houses. The time of take-over is 3pm and the houses must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
Occupancy
The number of persons occupying a house must not exceed the number stated on the booking form, unless this has been agreed with the proprietor.
Responsibility
The person(s) who sign the booking form will be responsible for ensuring that the conditions of let are adhered, for any loss or damage to the accommodation and the contents. The accommodation should be kept clean and in good condition and any breakages reported immediately. A refundable security deposit of £100 will be required. This amount will be returned following inspection of the property at departure.
Admission and Eviction
The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons for any just reason. In such cases a full refund of all monies will be given. The proprietors also reserve the right to evict offensive persons but in this case the repayment of monies will be pro-rata to the period expired.
Pets
No pets allowed.
Personal Possessions
The proprietors will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal effects of the hirer or member of his/her party. Similarly vehicles and their contents and accessories are left at their owner’s risk.
